My Bag

hi! i'm efua.

@f_weezyy

I’m Efua, a Ghanaian-American undergrad student at Washington University in St. Louis studying African & African American Studies and minoring in Design. I’m a writer and a dancer, originally from Dover, Delaware. Before Thinx I used mainly pads, and started getting into cups, but Thinx saves me money and gives me assurance that I’m covered and comfy throughout my *super* busy days.

go-to period hack

Hot water bottles relieves cramps and nausea like a charm! I also have started yoga and it helped with some tension in my muscles from cramps, and gives me space to relax.

know my flow

Days 1-2 are heavy, and my cramps are pretty bad, days 3-4 lighten up but I still need some protection, day 5 changes from cycle to cycle sometimes it’s gone, sometimes spotting, and sometimes it’s still relatively heavy.

my fave styles:

super hiphugger

The Super Hip Huggers are good for those heavy days.

sport

I like the Sport (in Ocean blue!) for the more active days, especially on day 3 or 4 when my flow lightens up.

cheeky

I love the Cheeky, on the days I’m not sure if I’m starting or ending my cycle for some added protection, and the cheetah print is the cutest style!
