Yes! We offer international shipping, so women all around the world can feel comfortable and confident during their periods!
Unfortunately not! That'd be a big commitment for a lil' company. Our prices don't include these fees (they vary depending on where you are), so any import taxes, duties, brokerage fees, and VATs are collected by the local shipping company upon delivery. Womp, womp. If you get your package and are just like, nvm, 'cause you don't want to pay those fees, we won't be able to refund you. Sorry, internationals!
While THINX does it's best to ensure that our E-commerce experience is consistent, enjoyable, and functional across all modern browsers and devices, occasionally something small may not function properly on older browsers when an update to our code is pushed. If you are having trouble logging in, creating an account, or placing an order, we highly recommend you first update your browser to the newest version.

Or, simply trying another browser will usually work too! We prefer Chrome here at THINX!

Our patented technology (called THINX QuadTECH®) is made up of four ultra-thin micro-layers that all work together to do their thang. We developed the technology over three years before launching the product to ensure each and every pair is completely antimicrobial, moisture-wicking, leak-resistant, and absorbent. Take a look at our How it Works page to learn more.
Your THINX can hold up to 2 regular tampons’ worth of liquid (10 mL worth), but this can vary depending on the style you’ve chosen, and what your flow is like.
Yup. Check the shop page to see all our styles.
THINX replaces panty liners for good, and can be used in conjunction with tampons and menstrual cups. You know your flow though, so we suggest testing your own limits.
Check out our sister brand, TUSHY, which is a simple, affordable, designer bidet attachment that clips onto your toilet, keeping your butt squeaky clean. But... what does this have to do with periods? Well, friends-- TUSHY is the BOMB for your vag, too!! Did you know that one of the top three causes of UTIs is when women wipe from back to front instead of from front to back? Think about that for a sec. It's literally a result of dirty bottoms. If you are susceptible to getting UTIs, yeast infections, or hemorrhoids, you need TUSHY in your life. And on your period? Or post-sex? Washes you so fresh and so clean clean for that, too :-)
Fo’ sho. The entire inner lining is treated with an anti-microbial application of silver, which becomes embedded within the fibers and fights bacteria.
If you want to take extra precautions, we highly recommend making TUSHY (our sister brand to THINX) a part of your hygiene routine. Using a gentle spray of water (vs toilet paper) helps prevent UTIs, yeast infections, and hemorrhoids too. Plus, it feels great! Every doctor will tell you that the most hygienic thing you can do for yourself is get a bidet, so why not start now?! It's only $57 too, for a lifetime of squeaky clean :-)
We recommend that you rinse them by hand first, and then throw them in the cold wash with the rest of your delicates! DON’T use fabric softener as it prevents the antimicrobial and moisture-wicking treatments from working. Finally, hang dry. (Pro-tip: You should treat the rest of your lingerie like this, too!)
We actually have a product called Icon that’s designed specifically for this purpose! Visit iconundies.com for more info.
The interior of the underwear is antimicrobial cotton, which includes an application of silver. All the other technology is between the cotton interior layer and the nylon/spandex exterior layer (Interior Innermost 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane; Middle breathable PUL, 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane; Outer 89% Nylon, 11% Elastane; Trim 100% Polyester). This way, your undies look sexy but feel safe!

For every pair of THINX you buy, we send funds to our partner, AFRIpads, to help girls and women in Uganda. Learn about the power of your purchase here.
There is a great need for solutions in this part of the world. 94% of girls in Uganda report having problems at school due to menstruation and many drop out of school entirely.
We believe in empowering women around the world to become productive members of society. That’s why THINX has teamed up with AFRIpads, a social business in Uganda that hires local women and trains them to both sew and sell washable, reusable cloth pads, turning them into local entrepreneurs. Our mission is to help create a sustainable ecosystem for women around the globe.
We appreciate your enthusiasm and willingness to contribute. We strongly encourage you to do so through our partner organization, AFRIpads. But purchasing a pair of THINX would be best, as you'd fund the production of the same exact kits! Furthermore, you can also help by spreading the word about THINX far and wide.
Yes, we have every intention of solving this issue in other parts of the developing world, over time. Currently, more than 100 million girls are not in school due to their menstrual cycle and we have plans to address this.
While we LOVE your support, THINX are currently only being sold online. In our wholesale efforts, we’ve found that––*surprise!*––many people aren’t super comfortable being as loud and proud about periods as we are. So, while we’re young, we want to make sure that we can always tell our story in full. That said, we do sometimes work with select partners and are open to hosting exclusive events, so don’t hesitate to email us for other ways to get involved and help #breakthetaboo.
Miki Agrawal, her twin sister Radha, and friend Antonia are the THINX Co-Founders. Miki is now CEO / Chief Inventor-er at THINX.
Let’s just say the founding ladies had their fair share of underwear mishaps (there’s stories about three legged races and white leather chairs around here somewhere…)! It was more than clear that women everywhere needed something better.
When Miki travelled to South Africa in 2010 (yes, for the World Cup), she took a trip to a rural area where she met a 12 year-old girl who was hangin’ out on a weekday. Miki asked, “Why aren’t you in school?” The girl quietly responded, “It’s my week of shame.” Upon her return, she, Radha, and Antonia found that 100 million girls around the world miss school just because they lack the sanitary supplies they need to manage their periods. They knew that they could somehow use the innovative idea of magic period underwear to support these girls. And BOOM. THINX was born.
80% of American women have had accidents during, and have expressed anxiety about, their periods.
5 or more pairs of underwear are typically thrown away by one woman every year.
