Orders, shipping, & stuff
I’ve already submitted my order, but I need to make a change! What do I do? Is it too late?
We process our orders quickly (so you can get your undies in a jiff), but we will do our best to accommodate any requests you may have. The best way to adjust or cancel an order is to email email@example.com or call us at (917) 819-8171.
How long must I wait for my undies after I submit my order?
Your order should ship within 1-2 business days (Mon-Fri, before 5pm), and arrive within 5-7 business days if you select standard shipping, or 1-3 business days with expedited shipping (Continental U.S.)––UNLESS you've pre-ordered something, in which case the shipping date was indicated upon placing your order.
What is your return policy?
Not loving them? No worries — we process returns and exchanges within 60 days of purchase (not valid on final sale items, tampons, merch, or gift cards), no questions asked! We will also provide you with a free pre-paid return label. You can request a return or exchange via returns.shethinx.com. If your order qualifies, you'll receive an instant refund code (enter it at checkout). Your instant refund code will allow you to shop again immediately. Just remember to send your items back within 30 days or you'll be charged for the purchase. If you want to buy a different style, use your instant refund code and the provided free shipping code to re-purchase (we can only process direct exchanges for different sizes and colors of the same style through our portal). If you prefer a monetary refund, the instant refund code will automatically expire in 5 business days, and you'll receive a monetary refund within 5 days of your items being received by our warehouse.

I'm having trouble placing my order on your website. Help!

How do THINX work?
Our patented technology (called THINX QuadTECH®) is made up of four ultra-thin micro-layers that all work together to do their thang. We developed the technology over three years before launching the product to ensure each and every pair is completely antimicrobial, moisture-wicking, leak-resistant, and absorbent. Take a look at our How it Works page to learn more.
How much liquid can THINX hold?
Your THINX can hold up to 2 regular tampons’ worth of liquid (10 mL worth), but this can vary depending on the style you’ve chosen, and what your flow is like.
Yup. Check the shop page to see all our styles.
Are THINX a replacement for my current routine?
THINX replaces panty liners for good, and can be used in conjunction with tampons and menstrual cups. You know your flow though, so we suggest testing your own limits.
Is THINX hygienic?
Fo’ sho. The entire inner lining is treated with an anti-microbial application of silver, which becomes embedded within the fibers and fights bacteria. Our super-absorbent and sweat-wicking materials work with the rest of the four-layer tech to keep you dry and germ-free. Yay.
How do I wash my underwear?
We recommend that you rinse them by hand first, and then throw them in the cold wash with the rest of your delicates! DON’T use fabric softener as it prevents the antimicrobial and moisture-wicking treatments from working. Finally, hang dry. (Pro-tip: You should treat the rest of your lingerie like this, too!)
Can THINX be used for urinary incontinence or light bladder leaks?
We actually have a product called Icon that’s designed specifically for this purpose! Visit iconundies.com for more info.
Can I wear THINX as a swimsuit?
Short answer: yes. Long answer: We've tried it, and it's totally worked-- but proceed with caution. It's obvi perfect for sunbathing, etc., but TBH because of the fact that your period, y'know, washes out of THINX, we can't guarantee that your blood won't also float out of the garment when you get in the pool (you're probs safe in the ocean tho bc #ocean or hot tubs bc #jets). You'll also be loading it up w/ water, so it'll reach max absorption p quickly (read: immediately). In the end, though, it's probably a safer bet on a light day (or just as backup to a tampon/cup) than regular swimsuit. Let us know how it goes!
I have sensitive skin. What are THINX made out of? Will they irritate me?
The interior of the underwear is antimicrobial cotton, which includes an application of silver. All the other technology is between the cotton interior layer and the nylon/spandex exterior layer (Interior Innermost 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane; Middle breathable PUL, 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane; Outer 89% Nylon, 11% Elastane; Trim 100% Polyester). This way, your undies look sexy but feel safe!
Where are THINX manufactured?
Each pair of THINX is made at a family-run factory in Sri Lanka. They are true experts in production and can offer the best quality to all our loyal THINX-ers. The best part, though? THINX is made by empowered women––learn more on our About page.
Where can I buy THINX?
Right here! THINX is currently only available for purchase online at shethinx.com, so that we can make sure you fully understand the product, our giveback, and also get the best customer experience possible.

I thought your undies were always made with cotton?

Are they organic?
Yes, our Cotton range is made with organic cotton.
I want to help women and girls in the developing world. If I buy a pair of THINX, what happens next?
Giving back to people with periods has been at the core of our mission since day 1 — but we know there’s still a lot of work to do (like more education, accessibility, and resources!). That’s why we’ve committed to empowering bleeders everywhere with our first educational program: the Global Girls Club. The best part is we’re doing it with *your* support! A portion of every THINX purchase helps fund our giveback initiatives for Vs near and far. Wanna know more? Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I love the product. Can I sell THINX in my store?
Thanks for the support! Our biz is *growing*, and because of the massive interest in our innovative period solutions we're launching a wholesale channel. Interested in selling our stuff? Email us at email@example.com to talk more.

Fair question, curious customer! Tampons make the perfect backup to your THINX on a heavy day. When you need extra support, the tampons will help THINX with the heavy lifting (or in this case--absorbing!)
What are these tampons made out of?
THINX tampons are made of 100% organic cotton. Ya know how good you feel when your drink is 100% juice? Yeah, it’s kinda like that!
How much blood does the tampon hold?

So what's the deal with this applicator?
We can’t reveal •too• much now, but here’s a hint: sustainable, reusable, & your new favorite accessory!
