With this video project, we aim to give you more of the REAL sex education you were denied in 4th period health class (maybe when you needed it most... #awkwardturtle). 

In the interest of breaking taboos, we have asked knowledgeable sexperts for the gritty details of human sexuality, and why it's important to speak honestly about sex. So fasten your phallic symbols, strap on your strap-ons, and join us on Instagram as we throw abstinence out the window for #28DaysofRealSexEd!  

BTW - it looks like we're not the only ones who are ready for this: John Oliver's latest hit was all about the, uhh, less-than-desirable state of sex education in the United States. Srsly, it may shock you to learn the truth of the situation––like how... only 22 states are required to teach sex education; only 13 of those states require the information taught to be medically accurate; and how the federal government just upped it's $50 million abstinence-only education budget to $75 million. This approach leads to higher rates of teenage pregnancy and the spread of STDs, is exclusionary of the LGBTQ+ community, and associates sex with shame, repression, and confusion. Suffice it to say, our happy tears about this project are all too real.

**Addendum: we realize most of the content that addresses specific sexualities and sex acts appears to adhere to a heteronormative narrative that may not be entirely inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community.
